Ant Mania - Picnic 2
Ant Mania is a Webkinz World Arcade game. This game is a sequel to the Arcade game Picnic.
Object
The object of the game is to collect the food without running into the red ants or the spiders.
Controls
Move around the picnic blanket by using the arrow keys. You can also move diagonally by pressing the up or down arrow key and the left or right arrow key at the same time. (Ex. Up arrow + left arrow = movement North West)
Difficulty Modes
Easy
- Game starts with 1 red ant
- New red ant is added for every 3 foods collected
- New spider is added for every 16 foods collected
Medium
- Game starts with 2 red ants
- New red ant is added for every 2 foods collected
- New spider is added for every 15 foods collected
Hard
- Game starts with 2 red ants and 1 spider
- New red ant is added for every 1 food collected
- New spider is added for every 14 foods collected
Power-Ups
There are three Power-Ups in this game. Obtaining a Power-Up awards 10 points (regardless of difficulty level or game progress) and a temporary special boost.
Speed Up - Makes you run faster.
Slow Down - Slows the spiders and red ants down.
Lady Bug Armor - Gives you invincibility.
Scoring
- The maximum obtainable score is 2,500 points (166 KinzCash). If a game exceeds this score, an error message will display, the score will not register, and KinzCash will not be rewarded.
- A bonus prize may be awarded if a player reaches 300 points.
- 1 KinzCash is awarded for every 15 points.
Each food obtains a different number of points depending on the chosen difficulty level and game progress, as defined in the following table:

Trophy
Ant Mania's Trophy was only obtainable during a Trophy Challenge for a limited time.
Tips
- Play on easy and medium until you get comfortable with the controls for this game.
- Use sound to your advantage. (If it helps you turn it on; if not then keep it off.)
- Use the spots where no insects are to your advantage. (Red ants never change their paths, but watch out for the spiders.
- Spiders move faster when you are standing still, so to avoid them, keep moving at all times (even if it means moving back and forth).
