Atlantiles
Atlantiles is a game in the Webkinz Arcade game introduced on September 29th, 2010. The objective of the game is to draw a line with less than two turns between tiles on a grid.
Gameplay
Atlantiles has two game modes: Quick Play and Level Mode. Both modes are played the same way, the length is the main thing that differs. Quick Play is only a single board, while Level Mode has eight levels to complete. Each level begins with a set of tiles on a board, though the board's layout can differ from level to level. Players click on tiles, drawing lines between matching tiles that have less than two turns in them. Once the tiles are matched, they disappear from the board. Players must match all the tiles on the board to win and proceed to the next level (in Level Mode). If the player can make no more moves, the game ends.
The game also has a 'hint' button in both modes, which shows the player a potential clearance on the board. There is no time reduction for using the hint feature. There are point reductions for using the hint feature, however, for both Quick Play and Level Mode. In Quick Play, the points for matching two tiles reduces from 42 to 16. These values stay constant throughout Quick Play. In Level Mode, the points for matching two tiles reduces from 35 to 14. These values stay constant throughout all levels (in Level Mode).
In both gameplay modes, there are time restrictions (see table). If the player runs out of time, the game ends. The number of seconds remaining after all tiles have been matched is added as a bonus to the points.
