Map of Kinzville

The most up-to-date image and information guide on Webkinz Classic items, events, and more!

The Map of Kinzville or Kinzville Map is a customizable and interactive layout of Kinzville. It serves as a way for players to access popular locations in Webkinz World, similar to the Things to Do menu. The player can add buildings for locations like the Adoption Center, which can be placed anywhere on the map and rearranged as the player chooses. Players can also place decorations such as paths, trees, and other geographic features. If paths or roads are placed on the map, a user's pets will walk on them and travel from building to building. Collection Events also commonly take place on the Map of Kinzville, where players request items from their friends in order to earn items.

Formerly, the Map of Kinzville was a static map that could not be customized. It served to supplement the Things to Do screen, allowing players a more interactive way to access activities and games. This static map was updated with the seasons, taking on new appearances that reflected the time of year. However, it was updated in 2012 to allow players to customize and rearrange their own maps. This change came with a set of challenges that allowed the player to earn new buildings in order to better customize their map. All new accounts start with a default layout of buildings on the Kinzville map, though this can be changed at any time.

Editing the Map

Editing the Kinzville Map is very similar to placing items in a player's house. Players can click the "Edit" button at the top of the screen, which allows them to select any object on the map and rotate it or place it back in their inventory. Buildings and decorations may be dragged and dropped into the desired location assuming the building will fit where it is being placed. The inventory is displayed on the right side of the screen, containing all items that can be placed on the map. The map can also be zoomed in or out using the magnifying glass in the top left corner of the screen next to the edit button.
