Prize Klaw Machine
The Prize Klaw Machine is a game at Today's Activities. The game is available as a random event on select days. It is similar to a real-life claw machine, in which a player controls a claw to grab prizes.
The Prize Klaw Machine was introduced on December 2, 2009[1].
Gameplay
Three buttons are used to control the Klaw: a left arrow, a right arrow, and a down arrow. Clicking the left arrow moves the Klaw to the left, and clicking the right arrow moves the Klaw to the right. The down arrow drops the Klaw to grab a prize capsule.
If a capsule is acquired, players must use the left arrow to move the Klaw to the drop range and the down arrow to release the capsule before time is up to receive a prize. The game runs for 30 seconds.
The Klaw has three levels of grip, from right to left: light, medium, and firm. The firmer the grip, the more likely a player is to win a prize. However, more time is required to reach the firm grip region. If a player extends the Klaw and it does not grab a prize, it returns to its original position and the game repeats until time is up.
