Window on the World

Introduction

Window on the World was an event in November 2014 to advertise a Webkinz Mobile App update which allowed players to play in their rooms on the app. Previously, the Mobile App only had a selection of arcade games which linked to a Webkinz.com account. Players were awarded a Windows on the World Gift Box the first time they logged in between November 20, 2014 and December 20, 2014 on Webkinz.com. The gift box contained 3 wrapped place-able items and a wrapped wallpaper. The wallpaper contained a message that read "Go to Webkinz Mobile to open the shutters and open your packages!" After logging into the Webkinz Mobile App, the packages opened and revealed the Window on the World prizes. Even if the player did not log in on the Webkinz Mobile App, the packages eventually opened themselves in January 2015.
