'''Arte Fact''' is the owner of the Curio Shop and keeper of the Gem Mines. He as well is a former archaeologist who explored Webkinz World, travelling numerous journeys and collecting artifacts. ==Fictional Biography==
Starting from eight years-old, Arte would go on adventures with his former best friend Doug the Dog, and would later gain an interest in artifacts. He had his first "real" adventure at fourteen years-old, exploring beyond Kinzville. He would go on to many more adventures, discovering and collecting artifacts along the way. As told in [[The Last Adventure]], his final venture ended with him discovering the Gem Mines and found the Curio Shop, as to share the mines' stones with all of Kinzville. This was at the expense of his friendship with Doug, who wanted to keep all the gems for himself. They have not spoken since.
Arte currently runs the Curio Shop and has retired from his archaeology career. When first visiting the Curio Shop, Arte will treat you as a new customer, someone he hasn't seen before. As you buy, [[Curio_Shop#Friendship_and_Tips|tip]], and visit the shop more often, Arte will become much friendlier.
Once a day, you can go into one of the five [[Mines]] and look for gems. Gems can be either sold or kept in a collection. If you collect every gem, you have the option of trading them in for the [[Webkinz Crown of Wonder]].
