There are three job difficulties:
* Easy jobs: have no prerequisites for players to be able to do them, though they award the least amount of KinzCash. These jobs have yellow notes on the Job Board.
* Medium jobs: have blue notes and must be unlocked by fulfilling the prerequisite once per account
* Hard jobs have green notes and must be unlocked by fulfilling the prerequisite once per account

Available jobs rotate out once an hour, and there are always five jobs on the board. Occasionally, a job will be spotlighted in Today's Activities. Players can complete this job even if they have already completed a job in the past eight hours. This job will appear in the center of the Job Board on a pink note that says "Extra Job". Only the Baby-Sitter, Fence Painting, and Hamburger Cook jobs are available for free players. All other jobs require a full Webkinz membership.

After completing a job successfully three times, the player will advance to the next level of that job. With each new level, the job becomes slightly more challenging, but the player also gains more KinzCash. There are three levels for each job.

Each job has a pay scale depending on the level of difficulty; payouts are only awarded for successful job completion. Players start at level 1 for all jobs and can advance up to level 3. If a player fails the same job two times in a row, they will drop down a level.

When Can I Do Jobs?
You can try to do one job every 8 hours. Tabby Von Meow will keep track using the clock that sits above her head to indicate the time you must wait before you are eligible to attempt another job. Although, the clock might be off by a few minutes.

If you have a Deluxe Membership, you can do one extra job per day by clicking on the flashing red bell beside Tabby Von Meow. Also from time to time a job is featured in Today's Activities, and during this time period you can do the featured job regardless of the time left on the clock. A featured job appears with a pink border.

Easy jobs appear on yellow notices, medium on blue notices, and difficult on green notices.

Resume
Similar to a pet's Report Card for the Kinzville Academy, players can view their Resume by clicking on it in the Employment Office. The Resume displays a player's username, the KinzCash they earned on their last job, and all of the KinzCash they've earned by doing jobs. Each job that a player has completed is listed on the Resume, along with the player's level in that job, how many times they have attempted it, and how many times they have succeeded. The resume is shared between every pet on a player's account, so the job's level is always the same no matter which pet completes it.
