Celebration of Hanukkah

During Hanukkah, families of Jewish faith all over the world light Menorahs in celebration. In Webkinz World, many of our furry friends celebrate too.

For each of the eight nights of Hanukkah, the candles on the Menorahs in Webkinz World are lit with an animated, flickering flame. On the first night, two candles are lit.[1] Each night after that, another candle is lit, until on the final night, every candle is glowing. This is the only time of the year that these items are animated.

  1. The center candle on a Menorah, called a shamash, is used to light the other candles, and does not represent one of the eight nights.
