In 2009, Ganz had their first ever Trick or Treat event in Webkinz World. The Trick or Treat event is a Halloween event that runs in the [[Clubhouse]] thatduring runsOctober. duringThe theevent monthwas offirst introduced in October 2009. When the ghostGhost (Spooky Hamster in 2010) is seenappears in the Clubhouse, youplayers can click on it andto are rewarded withreceive one of 12twelve tastycandy treatsprizes. IfPlayers youwho collect all 12twelve treats, youprizes unlock athe Grand Prize. PlayersOnly canone onlyGrand winPrize onecan Grandbe Prizeobtained per account.
 
==How to Play==
The Trick or Treat event originally ran as follows:
* Players had to be in the room before the Ghost appeared.
 
* When the Ghost appeared, a "BOOOO" sound occurred.
* You had to be in the room before the Ghost (Spooky in 2010) appeared.
* When players clicked on the Ghost (Spookyto inreceive 2010)a appeared,piece youof heardcandy, athe spookywords "BOOOOTrick-or-Treat" soundappeared over their pets' heads.
* When petsplayers receivedchecked a piece oftheir candy. thecollection, wordsa "Trick-or-Treat"pumpkin appeared over their heads.pets' heads
* When pets were checking their candy collection, a pumpkin appeared over heir heads

==How to Find the Ghost==
In 2009, players hunted in the Clubhouse for a Trick or Treat Ghost. Themoved Ghost kept moving from onebetween Clubhouse roomrooms toapproximately anotheronce everyper minute or so. In order to find the Ghost, playersPlayers could eitherrotate jumpbetween around and try to figure out what room it was inrooms or just park their petwait in one room anduntil staythe thereGhost appeared. Eventually,When the Ghost wouldappeared, showplayers upcould where you are and when it did you clickedclick on it and were rewardedto withreceive a piece of candy.

==Candy Collection Timing==
From 2012 onward, the Ghost stayed in the Reading Room during the entire event, and you didn't need to go searching for him.
In 2009, players could collect candy once every three hours. Toward the end of the event, the time was lowered to every two hours, and then to every hour.
 
In 2010, players could collect candy once every three hours. On October 25, 2010, the time was lowered to every two hours for the remainder of the event.
