In September 2011, Ganz released '''Nafaria Star Trading''', a Click-to-Win feature in which Webkinz users can trade the stars they have collected from [[Alyssa's Star Challenge]] for prizes. The event now runs in Webkinz World from time to time.
 
==DescriptionMechanism==
 
[[Nafaria]] will appear at the edge of the player's screen for a few seconds. If the player clicks her before she retreats, she will make a trade offer. The equivalent mechanism for [[Curio Shop#Gem Hunt|Gem Hunt]] at the Curio Shop is [[(Picture Guide) Gem Hunt#Doug the Dog|Doug the Dog]].

She is active for the 1st to the 14th of each month. She will appear at the edge of the screen an unlimited number of times, but will only offer to trade once per day.
Star trading follows a concept similar to [[Trading Gems]] with [[Doug]], but instead of finding Nafaria in the Clubhouse, you must find her flying across your screen in Webkinz World. Stars can be found in [[Alyssa's Star Challenge]]. When you find [[Nafaria]] flying across your screen, you will get a chance to trade your stars for Nafaria-themed prizes (see below).
 
The count and cumulative value of the stars she requests will increase as the player progresses through the prize path.

==Problems==
There is a canon, random chance of Nafaria reneging on the trade, taking the player's stars, and not giving a prize.

Unfortunately, this event is filled with programming problems. Most Webkinz players complain that it is too difficult to find Nafaria, and that when she is found, it isn't worth it. Nafaria has been programmed that sometimes she will steal stars without awarding a prize, a feature that most think should not be part of a game aimed at children. Also, there have been complaints that Nafaria frequently disappears in a purple puff of smoke without offering to trade. Ganz stated on Facebook and on Twitter in September 2011 that they were working on this glitch, but it returned in December 2011 and March 2012.
 
There is also a possibility that the player will click her, and the screen will darken but her trade offer will not appear. Some hotspots for this error are listed below.

No-appears will waste the player's daily Nafaria encounter, so clicking her over the aforementioned problem spots is not recommended.
As with [[Trading Gems]], there are different levels of prizes that can be won. Smaller prizes must be won before the larger ones.

The player can only follow one prize path per account, and the pet used is irrelevant, unlike with [[(Picture Guide) Gem Hunt#Doug the Dog|Doug the Dog]]. The prize path will restart from the beginning once the player has collected all prizes. There are 20 prizes in fixed order, listed below.
