'''[[Webkinz]] Cares''' was a program launched in June 2008 that introduced [[Lil'Kinz]] pets with additional feature codes. $1.00 from the sale of each Webkinz Cares pet went directly to the Webkinz Foundation, a non-profit designed to benefit children. These Webkinz Cares pets were only available at Walgreens stores, and were identical to existing Lil'Kinz pets with the exception of the red Webkinz Cares tag.
 
While Webkinz Cares Feature Codes continue to be honored if entered in the [[Code Shop]], Webkinz Cares and other similar plush pets are no longer sold in stores. The Webkinz Foundation closed in 2015, and its website along with it.
 
==Prizes==
Using the Webkinz Cares tag code in the [[Code Shop]] unlocks a special set of prizes. There is a Webkinz Foundation theme made up of Webkinz Cares that can only be obtained through these feature codes, as well as items from Caring Valley. Using one of these feature codes also unlocks a Webkinz Cares game which can be played once a day for five days.
