Iceberg Escapades

Iceberg Escapades is an Arcade game originally released in 2005 under the name Icecap Adventure. The game was retired for several years, returning in 2013 with an updated title screen and new name.

Gameplay

In Iceberg Escapades, the player controls penguin who is hopping from iceberg to iceberg collecting stars. Each level has a set amount of stars to collect, visible in the upper left corner. There are 20 levels in total.

The penguin is controlled with the arrow keys, pressing and holding the spacebar to jump. An arrow and a dotted line will appear on the screen, which shows where the penguin will land. Time the jump by releasing the spacebar when the arrow is over the desired iceberg. If the player stands on one iceberg for too long, it will break and the player will lose a life.

Players start the game with five lives, losing one when the penguin falls in the water. Players can gain lives by completing blizzard levels, where the player moves more slowly but stars are worth more points.
