The main obstacles are pink birds and Zangoz, and interacting with them makes Zacky lose a try. Each Zangoz will be patrolling in a designated area, and if touched, will knock Zacky off of the screen. Pink birds will fly across the entire area and will pick up Zacky and take him off the screen.
The other obstacles are roads and water. Roads are filled with heavy traffic caused by cars driven by Zingoz, and Zacky getting hit by one of the cars will knock Zacky off the screen and make him lose a life. For rivers, turtle shells will pop up and logs will float from one end to the other to allow Zacky to cross lakes and rivers, but falling in will lose him a try as well.
