Tile Towers
Tile Towers is an Arcade game that is among the oldest of Webkinz games.
Object
The goal of Tile Towers is to remove all of the imaged blocks to progress to the next level or to remove the purple imaged blocks in Target mode. Tiles are removed by matching tiles with the same image AND each tile is open on left and/or right side. There is a time limit of 15 minutes in Classic and Target mode and 5 minutes in Quick mode. Hints are given to the player if they haven't made a match in 10 seconds, hints can be disabled by unchecking the hints box in the top right corner during play.
Controls
You use your mouse to click on the tiles and remove them. You can only remove 2 tiles at a time. You can only remove those tiles if: The tiles pictures match IF there are no tiles touching the top or either tile. Neither tile can have a tile directly to the left OR right of it.
Losing
If you are out of moves or time, you will lose the game. Quick game mode is faster than Classic mode, but you receive less points and therefore less Kinzcash. In Target mode, the object is to remove the purple tiles.
Trophy
The trophy was only obtainable during a limited time for a Trophy Challenge.
Tips
Classic Version
Classic version of Tile Towers is the most basic version.
To remove a tile, you must match it with another that has the same character on it. The only rule is, you must work outside to inside when matching up tiles. To put my term "outside to inside" more clear, the picture below shows which tiles would be able to be clicked on.
Every few seconds (if hints are turned on) you will be given two tiles that will work together if you haven't found any in awhile.
If you don't shuffle it yourself, the first time you "run out of moves" you will be given one auto shuffle. After this auto shuffle, if you run out of moves, the game is over.
If you run out of time, the game is over.
Target Version
Only take out the purple tiles. The other ones are for bonus points.
Quick Version
Quick verison of Tile Towers is just like the classic version but each level does not have as many tiles. It also does not award as many points, or give you as much time.
Working from outside to inside once again, these are the tiles that you would be able to click on in quick version of Tile Towers. Remember, the tiles you can click on are circled in red:
Outside to Inside in Quick Version Just like in classic version, you only get one auto-shuffle and if you run out of moves after that you lose the game.
If you run out of time, you lose the game as well.
