Wacky Zingoz

Wacky Zingoz is one of the original Webkinz World Arcade games; it has been a part of the website since Webkinz World was first created.

Object

Wacky is a Zingoz with an odd addiction...he loves being whacked around! You play as Zangoz and your goal is to hit Wacky with a club to see how far he flies. During Zingoz Fest, the goal is to get over 600 points in one hit so that you can win the trophy.

Controls

To hit Wacky into the air, click anywhere on the screen whenever Wacky is up in the tree, and Zangoz will swing his club, getting ready to hit. Click again to whack Wacky into the air.

Trophy

The trophy for this game is retired, but it sometimes comes out of retirement for a week or so for the Wacky Zingoz Celebration. The last time it was available was during the Celebration in 2016.

Tips

• The best place to hit Wacky is when his feet are nearing Zangoz mouth.
• You have the best chance to get a 600 when Wacky screams "Zingoz Man!" and is posed like a super hero. See commodore's technique later in this article.
• If you hit Zingoz correctly and he goes Zingoz Man, then if his first landing is in the middle of the flower patch between 400 and 500, it is almost certain you will make it to 600. See commodore's technique later in this article.

Commodore's Technique to Get Over 600 Points

My technique to get to the 600 mark (going from right to left in the image below which was taken from the 2008 Wacky Zingoz Celebration):

• Click on your mouse which will make Wacky jump down from the tree (a small shadow appears on the grass)
• When Wacky’s shadow on the grass is still small – that is the crucial moment when you must make your hit. The middle image shows where I have just hit - so the shadow is large.
• The left image shows where Wacky has just been hit. A second later, you should hear Wacky say “Zingoz man” as he soars across the sky – that is when you know you have made a hit that may carry you to the 600 mark.

Here is Wacky soaring to the first bounce – this is the highest Wacky will soar. This image is continued from the hit in the above picture. You’ll see these three clouds.

Your first bounce should land over the 400 mark, but land on the third flower or later in this patch. Any bounces before that will not carry you to the 600 mark.

This is Wacky bouncing up to prepare for his second bounce, from the first bounce down.

This is Wacky landing on his second bounce down – approximately at the 560 mark.

This is Wacky at the third bounce down, which the last descent will be at or past the 600 mark.

This is Wacky landing at 602.1.

During the Wacky Zingoz Celebration, a message will appear on the screen instantly when you have got past the 600 mark.

Wacky Zingoz Peek-A-Newz Challenge

On July 27 and 28, 2010, Webkinz Newz announced a Peek-A-Newz Challenge that awarded players an exclusive Dancing Zingoz. However, there were glitches reported for this event.[1]
