'''Webkinz Jr''' is the counterpart of [[Webkinz]] but for kids ages 3-6.

These new products were released in April 2009 when they appeared in the [[Ganz eStore]] (code only for $25.00). A list of pets are listed [[Webkinz Jr/Pets|here]] and the [http://www.webkinzjr.com/official website]. The site's construction took a while though and [[Webkinz Newz]] announced the site was ready on April 2, 2009. The tour and other parts of the site was ready before then. Also, this isn't a new place in [[Webkinz World]]. Webkinz Jr pets cost $25.00 in most stores.

[[Ganz]] (from Webkinz Newz) said they worked hard to make the pet's emotions here (sleepy, hungry etc.) and also gave out some sneak peaks there for a while. There were also [[ads]] around Webkinz World to promote the site. Webkinz Jr is no longer in service and is shut down. Accessing it leads to a 404 not found message.

The first six pets were the [[Webkinz Jr Blue Puppy]], [[Webkinz Jr Brown Monkey]], Webkinz Jr Tan Puppy, [[Webkinz Jr Orange Kitty]], [[Webkinz Jr Pink Puppy]] and [[Webkinz Jr Purple Monkey]]. These six pets are puppies, monkeys and kittens.
