Hiya! Don't know if you still check this site, so hopefully you get this message! I'm doing the maintenance updates today, and the site from which we get the item names is coming up as a 404 error. I cannot get the names for the images, thus I cannot upload them. Nor can I add the data to Michele's spoiler page or the Visual Master List. Any idea what is going on? Do you think that perhaps they're preparing to upload the item names in some other format since flash will be discontinued by the end of the year? I think they updated the software or something and that was preventing us from deleting that garbage. And if I am allowed to adopt the wiki, I'm not making any changes lol. Hey! Nice to see ya! Feels like it's been me and some crickets on this wiki lately, lol! I already did most of the update stuff, cause I've gotten in the habit of doing it all myself. Will you be available for future updates, or is work/school still keeping you really busy? Just so you know: I asked on the Shoutwiki forums if I could adopt the wiki, because I thought I was the only person left, and this way I could control the spam. I think one of us needs to adopt it, because Michele hasn't even logged in for a year. :( Let me know if you'd rather be the owner of the wiki and I'll go change the adoption request. Hey lady! How are you? :) All the update images have been uploaded. A Shoutwiki staff member stopped by the wiki and posed a question to us on the Main Page discussion section. If you can pass that message on to Michele somehow, that would be great. Oh, while I'm thinking of it, I'm getting an odd glitch with the Webkinz Picture Guide template for four images. Hello, I hope everything is okay with you since you haven't been here in a month. I hope work isn't killing you! For the month you've been busy, we've been absolutely devastated with spammers. I'm having to spend every spare minute here to get rid of it all, and I'm at my wit's end. I contacted Shoutwiki [[1]] in order to get some resolution, but since I am not the "owner" of the blog, I can't implement their solution. Do you have any way to contact Michele? Because she's the person who will have to initiate this process. Also, you never did the update stuff for last month, so I added a link to my user page with the 12-16 update already typed up. The Thuderbird avatar looks fine to me. Not sure what the problem is! Back when the fall mystery bags came out, I uploaded a new version of the Space Girl Braids (because the color changed in the system from black to neon green) and I had to call it "Spacegirlbraids2" because the old black-colored version kept showing up otherwise. I only just changed the name to "Spacegirlbraids" in the past week. I think you have to let some time go by and let the system update. So maybe upload the images of the pet avatars, call them "avatar2", wait a month or so, and then change the name. Crazy, I know! :p Loopy (talk) 17:06, 7 November 2017 (UTC)

I was already planning to do the pictures. I've gotten so much practice at it this past week, LOL. Oh, speaking of pictures, I edited the names of a couple of pictures on Choircutie's page, because Ganz changed the names in the system and I changed the names of the images in our database and they were not showing up on Choircutie's page as a result. I hope it's okay that I did that...I would have asked permission first, but Choircutie hasn't been around this week and you had not yet logged on today. If you want me to leave that page alone, just say so. : ) When you get a minute, can you please check the eStore themes page that I've been laboring over all week and tell me if it is acceptable? Hello! I certainly am familiar with your work at WI. I don't know if Choircutie has told you, but I've been collecting the images every Update Wednesday by myself for years, and I've been getting the names of the items from either your WI page or hers! : ) As I usually harvest the images first thing on Update Wednesday mornings, it's no trouble for me to do so tomorrow. One thing you might want to change on Choircutie's page...she only has the item names listed for the February 15 update under the "February 15 and March 8" update. Since I collected the images from the March 8 update when they were current, I can tell you which items belong with that update. I don't know if you guys can tell which images go with which update from whatever source you use to get the names, and, according to Choircutie, I don't want to know how to do that because you get put on the naughty list by Ganz! As far as templates go, the WPG templates (of all sizes) are some of the simplest. I don't have anything too complicated as far as coding on here, though. Even some of the trickier coding on here can be figured out with a bit of trial and error. (It took me a bit to figure out some of the coding for the main page of the wiki!) Once you update the WPG template, you can just keep editing the pages as normal, you don't have to do anything special. I'm glad you thought to ask before I left, too, as it would have been significantly more difficult to answer that on mobile!! On the template page go to the edit tab. You see how there are groups of five in numerical order through 600? Basically you just continue doing the same thing past 600. It's pretty simple, really, It's just not something I've managed to get around to, and as the PSI and eStore pages (especially the eStore pages) are completed, the template will need expanded so that everything shows up. --choircutie 02:13, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
As I've given you Admin rights on the wiki (meaning you can edit protected pages, move files, and move pages, among other things), editing templates is an ability that you have. The WPG Template is by far the most used template on the wiki. Whenever you create a new gallery on a wiki page, the WPG Template is essentially the coding for the gallery, so everything shows up nice and neat on the wiki pages. As it's the most used template, and generally the go-to template for large Gallery pages, it likely needs expansion past 600. (Take for example the Current PSI Page: Once there are 600 PSIs shown on the page, even if you do the coding for more PSIs, they won't show up on the page until the template is expanded. Does that make any sense? lol I'm not sure how to explain it. Learning much of the more "behind the scenes" wiki work was a LOT of trial and error, and exploring the workings of other wikis, and testing things until I figured them out. --choircutie 00:23, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

I think for the Food Machine page go ahead and just put the makers only on the page, as some of the machines have a multitude of foods that they produce, and eventually there will be a Food Machines Collection page (as well as a number of other collection pages, such as this one. I just finished the project I was working on (holy moly so many pets to add to my New Pets Page!!) so I can definitely get started on setting up a category page! --choircutie 19:59, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
Oh gosh, the eStore pages, talk about pages I've been procrastinating! LOL! Basically the general idea I'm going for is broader main categories with sub categories (similar to how the eStore categories are set up) on those page. I have a few notes on set up on the talk page here Talk:(Picture Guide) Ganz eStore. For the clothing, yes, definitely set up as you described, with complete outfits as their own section (ie: Cowabelle Kinz Outfit, Seafaring Outfit, etc). Yes, that is how you reply! I forget that you can search the kinzapedia on WKN, haha. Yes, you can find the images using the kinzapedia. Here are instructions on finding images without using the kinzapedia:
Instructions on getting needed images:
- First, here is the image link
- The number you see in the URL is the item's number in the Webkinz Database.
- To find this number user this page.
- This is what I do for all images, get the pictures using the Item Number and save them.
- Once I have the images saved to my computer, I use the Multi Upload Tool to upload them to the WPG.
- In my experience, only 20 images will upload at one time.
- Not much to it, really. Though sometimes the wiki can be finicky, and a page won't show uploaded images unless you edit the page, and then hit save changes.
- Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions!
