Communal Contests were a feature accessible through the Kinzville Times. Players would vote on a potential prize from Monday through Thursday, and on Friday the winner is announced. That weekend, a collaborative challenge would be issued that players could work towards as a community. If a player participated in a communal contest, then that Monday a prize would be awarded when they visited the Communal Contest page in the Kinzville Times. The feature began in February 2010, and was removed in May 2011.
